Doctor Hoy's Natural Pain Relief Gel is a topical, water-based, analgesic which combines Arnica Montana, a powerful, natural anti-inflammatory, with Time-Release Menthol and Camphor for deep comforting relief from painful muscles, joints, stiffness, backache, neck ache, arthritis, bursitis, sprains, strains, and bruises.
How Does Doctor Hoy's® Natural Pain Relief Gel Work?
Menthol and Camphor are listed as topical or external analgesics by the Food and Drug Administration. They help to block pain receptors. Because Menthol only lasts about 40 minutes after it is applied to the skin, a portion of our Menthol is encapsulated in a Time Release Delivery System to produce hours of relief. The Pain Relief Gel also contains Arnica, a natural anti-inflammatory, which relieves pain by decreasing inflammation.

When Should I Use Doctor Hoy's® Natural Pain Relief Gel?
Use before physical activity to prepare joints and muscles for exercise and to prevent injury or alleviate pain.
Use during activity to reduce pain, cramping, and spasms.
Use after activity to quicken recovery and reduce soreness.
How Long Will I Feel Relief?
While this will vary from person to person, most report between 1 to 5 hours of deep, lasting relief. This is due to our unique Time-Release Delivery System. Layering the gel allows for deeper absorption in the tissue for extended relief. Use alone or combine with Doctor Hoy's Natural Arnica Boost.
How Should the Gel Be Applied?
For best results, apply a generous amount to the affected and surrounding areas. Massage the gel into the skin until it has completely absorbed into the skin and begins to dry. Layering the gel allows for extended relief and a stronger sensation.
Will the Gel Sweat off or Run?
No, because the gel is water-based, it absorbs quickly into skin and muscles and dries clean.
What if the Gel Gets in My Eyes?
Flush out eyes immediately. The gel may cause slight, momentary discomfort and make your eyes water.
How Will the Gel Feel on My Skin?
Most people feel a cool sensation followed by a warming sensation. This is due to our perfect balance of 5% Menthol and 5% Camphor. Our water-based gel leaves the skin clean and without residue.
Does the Gel Have a Strong Odor?
The gel has a moderate Menthol scent that vanishes within 10–15 minutes.
Can I Use a Heating Pad with the Gel?
